"entourage" Restaurant Chisinau - Review #23

[EN] I was recommended to go to this restaurant by a good friend of mine Mr Balan. I decided to go there and meet my best friend from school as we didn't see each other for more than 5 years now. It was nice to meet you again and have a glass of wine together.

We entered the restaurant and the first impression was a quick "wow moment" the place is really beautiful, inside and outside, you can feel it from the very beginning, the elegance, chic design, beautiful decor, table set-up, French music playing in the background, well presented menu, clean good looking uniforms[1]

We had 4 glasses of wine and a platter of sushi. The waitress who served us, Tatiana had no idea what to suggest from wine and food menu. I realized that the place is quiet new, but the staff are from Hotel Codru so they should be familiar with the sequence of service.

I asked Tatiana when did they opened? She said "I don't know!" then I asked if this place is a franchise? do they have other "entourage" restaurants around the world, it was a casual talk, I just tried to engage with her nothing special :) and again she didn't know how to answer. She went back and called her colleague to talk to us, please note that we couldn't see any manager leading the team out there :))) The new server came to us, he said simply that the restaurant was opened on 25th of August '17 and that it is not a franchise but an Autograph Restaurant. He did not mention who's the owner or "author" of entourage Chisinau, who had this wonderful idea of opening such a beautiful restaurant, yet with such a poor service team...

Will definitely go there again to give it another chance and hopefully write a different review again.
